For 3 months, I worked as a Graphic Design Intern at PetiteGiants.
PetiteGiants creates personalised children’s books, as well as posters and stickers. The books all have variants with a diverse array of child protagonists. Customers can choose from a set list to find a character closely resembling their child.
During my time with PetiteGiants, I created thumbnails for their online storefront, and wrapping paper patterns. These were based around 10 books.
All work produced here was created using premade assets which were not individually drawn by myself.

My first task was producing thumbnails for printable poster listings. Below are examples of each type of thumbnail I created for every book:

My aim with these thumbnails were to create mini environments where characters interacted or took part in their own fun. Characters emerging from the book gave a sense of it opening up and allowing the story to jump out. This creates a sense of energy and intrigue that enocurages customers to buy the book.
